Hope / Grief
Interactive assemblage featuring bamboo, chains, moss, candles, resin pomegranate seeds, jello, and wire tree sculptures. Includes ceramic incense burners and vases in collaboration with Strange Matter Ceramics (Martin).
Inspired by the pomegranate’s symbolism—fertility, death, seasons, and the cycle of life—this altar invites reflection, expression, and connection. Visitors were encouraged to share their hopes and griefs on interactive bookmarks, later hung on the wire trees as part of the installation. In a time of collective uncertainty, this piece offers a space to listen, feel, and remember that we have each other.
